DSM Lions Public School

In order to bring about the all–round development of personality, to promote healthy competition and to enable the children to shed inhabitation, the school is divided into four houses. Competitive programmes of games, sports, debates, elocutions, recitations, essay writing, storytelling quiz etc are organized regularly.

Hobbies like photography, painting, music, dramatics, embroidery, craft, plumbing, repair of the home electrical/electronic goods, book binding, dancing, knitting, cooking, gardening, fruit preservation etc. are encouraged. Educational excursions and picnics are organized during the school term.

Games, both indoor, outdoor and yoga are an integral part of the school curriculum. Arrangements are made to train the children in various games and sports to keep them physically fit and agile and prepare them for inter-school competitions.

Documentary, educational and inspiring feature films, and healthy T.V. programmes are regularly shown to students in the school.
